X10DR XLR Rooftop Gateway Package - Model: XRTG/XLR2
The X10DR XLR Rooftop Gateway Package - Model: XRTG/XLR2 offers state-of-the-art on-site coverage and top-of-the-line "Out Of Vehicle" communication capabilities for those in need. Proudly made in the USA, these wireless microphones are highly praised for their exceptional AES tactical encryption protection. They also feature Dual Control Head radio functionality, making them the ideal choice for any situation.
The innovative design of the XLR Gateway now allows for extensive coverage within buildings, thanks to Wireless Pacific's addition of an external mount housing. By repackaging the XLR Gateway's electronic circuitry into an IP65 rated housing and positioning it externally, unobstructed, on a rooftop or light rack, we have achieved an impressive range of over 2300 feet. Additionally, the XRTG XLR can serve as a Repeater when used with multiple handsets, effectively doubling the range (4000ft plus) between 2 or 3 handsets.
Operating on the 2.4GHz frequency band can result in noticeable levels of antenna coax cable losses. The highest quality coax cable experiences a 3dB loss on a 17 foot cable run, which is equivalent to losing half of the RF signal. This allows for greater penetration into buildings, making it superior to a standard gateway device.
The XRTG XLR is housed in a robust enclosure that can withstand extreme temperatures ranging from -22ºF (-30ºC*) to 197ºF (92ºC), making it suitable for external use on fire response vehicles such as fire appliances, pumpers, and ladder trucks. Additionally, it is mounted on a stainless L-shaped bracket and is completely weatherproof for reliable operation in any environment.
The standard XRTG-XLR Gateway includes:
AES 128 Bit Encrypted, XLR Rooftop mount gateway, with L mounting bracket, XMPA multipolarity antenna and a XIC-6.0 Outdoor shielded 6 meter - 20 foot interface cable is terminated with RJ45 connectors. Longer or shorter-length XIC cables can be ordered optionally.
Talk Back Mic Option:
For even greater local on-site team communications, should the driver usually remain in the vehicle or alongside the vehicle, in those situations where previously Dual Control Head Radio operation would be deployed deployed. A XTBM Talkback Mic can be installed in or outside of the passenger cabin so they remaining team member can also monitor and communicate locally with their out-of-vehicle work partners.
XLR Hardware Creations:
XLR features a number of innovative and unique creations to allow X10DR better integrate with the attached radio solution and to enhance the user's operational needs and effectiveness.
- Loud speaker audio for noisy traffic jams or wild stormy conditions.
- Enhanced receive audio quality when connecting to breathing apparatus etc
- Mandown Monitor which locally alarms your nearby partner besides triggering the radio's emergency input, should the user become immobile for longer than the defined timing parameter.
Product Summary:
Single or Dual user with Automatic Relay mode, IP67 waterproof rated Wireless Microphones - Emergency duress call - Mandown Monitor, Toggle Network or local Talkaround PTT - Local handsfree intercom - Hirose Headset audio port - 3.5mm earlier jack - Enhanced ground independent antenna -1450mA Li-Polymer battery - integrated long non-metal clip - magnetic latching charging cradle- XRTG XLR Rooftop Gateway - User card - 12-month warranty.
All XLR Wireless Microphones are equally at home connected via a vehicle or office mounted radio console, LTE-PoC, Sat-link, HF-SSB, Airband, etc communication device to the outside world. When used as such, the user's Wireless Microphones signal is typically repeated by a centrally located X10DR XLR gateway, which also provides the interconnection to land mobile, Iridium PTT, Satellite, or console devices. For advanced systems needs a XSJB Smart Junction Box can provide connection with two radio/network devices.
Order the XCA Interface Cable to suit your mobile radio from the drop-down box when purchasing to complete your vehicle fit-out. Please review the XCA Master Charts for mobile radio programming/configuration details.
Always refer to your mobile radio's service manual and the XCA Master Charts for correct configuration requirements. On the support page, you will also find the XGALA Audio adjustment level software tool. Use this together with the XFPK programming cables (found elsewhere in the store) to set the optimum audio levels in and out of the host-connected radio/communications device.
