X10DR XLR Rooftop Gateway Model: XRTG-XLR

The innovative design of the XLR Gateway now allows for extensive coverage within buildings, thanks to Wireless Pacific's enclosure within an externally mounted housing. By repackaging the XLR Gateway's electronic circuitry into an IP65 rated housing and positioning it externally, unobstructed, on a rooftop or light rack, we have achieved an impressive range of over 2300 feet*. Additionally, the XRTG XLR serves as a Repeater when used with multiple handsets, effectively doubling the range between XLR wireless microphones.

*Operating on the 2.4GHz frequency band can result in noticeable levels of antenna coax cable losses. The highest quality coax cable experiences a 3dB loss on a 17 foot cable run, which is equivalent to losing half of the RF signal. This allows for greater penetration into buildings, making it superior to a standard gateway device.

The XRTG XLR is housed in a robust enclosure that can withstand extreme temperatures ranging from -22ºF (-30ºC) to 197ºF (92ºC), making it suitable for external use on fire response vehicles such as fire appliances, pumpers, and ladder trucks. Additionally, it is mounted on a stainless L-shaped bracket and is completely weatherproof for reliable operation in any environment. 

The standard XRTG-XLR package includes:

AES 128 Bit Encrypted,  XLR Rooftop mount gateway, with L mounting bracket, XMPA multipolarity antenna, 20 foot interface cable, user card and 12-month warranty.

Installation:

XIC-6.0 Outdoor shielded 6 meter - 20 foot interface cable is terminated with RJ45 connectors. Longer or shorter-length XIC cables can be ordered optionally. Note only our flat type interface cables are compatible. Order the XCA Radio specific adaptor to suit your mobile radio.

For standalone "repeater" operation:

We recommend you order with XBUP-C14 battery back-up together with AC/12VDC @1A power supply terminated into a RJ45 Male plug

Handset Ordering:

Order separately up to 2/3* sets of XLR2 X10DRSM-XLR wireless mic packages for use with each XRTG-XLR or alternatively order 2/3* X10DRSM-XLR together with XDTC Desktop chargers when preferred. * Maximum 2 if Relay Mode  is required.

**Extreme Cold Operation:

When using this product in extremely low temperatures,  ensure proper deployment in fixed installation locations to prevent the build-up of ice and snow, which could greatly decrease the operating range.

This model ONLY works with current XLR series Wireless Microphones. Make sure your Wireless Microphone has the latest XLR series firmware fitted.
