They are a cost effective choice for those that require Dual Control Head radio functionality as well as cutting-edge on-site local team coverage.
The X10DR XLR Extra Wireless Mic - Model: XLR2 offers exceptional in-vehicle team communication and advanced "Out Of Vehicle" communication capabilities. With AES tactical encryption protection and a 3200ft LOS range via the vehicle-mounted gateway device, these mics are highly secure and reliable. They can communicate up to 1600 feet, line of sight, with the vehicle and up to 2400ft with Auto relay mode when connected to a centrally placed partner's Wireless Microphone.

Always refer to your mobile radio's service manual and the XCA Master Charts for correct configuration requirements. On the support page, you will also find the XGALA Audio adjustment level software tool. Use this together with the XFPK programming cables (found elsewhere in the X10DR-USA store) to set the optimum audio levels in and out of the host-connected radio/communications device.
* a 3rd handset should not be deployed where Auto Relay Mode is required. The feature should be disabled in programming for correct operation in such cases.
For additional local on-site team communications, should the driver usually remain in the vehicle, an XTBM Talkback Mic can be installed so they can also monitor and communicate locally with their out-of-vehicle work partner/s.
